Aare Gorge, Switzerland

Drying out the gear and getting things sorted was the order of the day, hidden away in the back of the camp site , next to a caravan hidden under a wooden facade.
It was quite a surprise to see Bryon and Chris..  there was a story from Grindlewald around misunderstandings and a camp site owner, but I am not the one to tell this.
After sorting things out a bit we then looked around to do the touristy bit, otherwise we would soon get frustrated with being cooped up.
There was a lot of material about the Aare gorge, and it did live up to its billing. We took a trip up to the valley and enjoyed the paths hanging off the side of the gorge.

It was only later that I found out that the other side of the valley from here was the "famous" waterfall where Sherlock Holmes and Moriaty had engaged in their final battle.. Now that would have also been an excellent day out.
