Another classic route ...  from the dungeon ghyll car park, across the valley and up crinkle, & shelter crags, around to Bowfell then back down the valley via Rossett Pike.

Cat Bells. Lakes Xmas Trip

A favorite of my old man ...  park in the car park at the start of the ridge  ... to the summit then down towards Derwent water and contour around back to the car.

Xmas/ New year trip, Lake district

Following a tradition of being in the mountains over new year..  John and his wife Jane, contacted Ken and myself about going away for the new year ..  they had a cottage booked in the lake district and we settled on some days walking the fells.
