A walk over to the Chateauveau area ... on the other side of the road to the campsite, and through some residences.

Then on to a trail through the woods and outcrops

We picked up some lunch and then headed over to Bas Couvier for a much more strenuous activity.

We arrived at the campsite early in the morning .. the gates were still closed. So after a snooze in the cars, we headed into town for breakfast before returning.
Once the tents were up we headed over to an area we had looked at over the trees in the distance.
 Pignon Poteau - Yellow. Then after lunch to an area Rocher de Milly (Yellow and Blue)

While we were climbing .. Alan's car got broken into ..  His and Lyn's passports, and some money was taken, however the other person in the car (John) had his in a scruffy paper bag that was left behind.

We visited the police station and M-J acted as translator, but it seemed this was a common occurrence, and was its proximity to the autoroute and Paris.

This generated some changes to our way of working here ..  always park reversed into the spots, and also as close as possible ..  in fact for the rest of the trip Alan parked his car tight between tow of our cars to secure the doors.

So after much form filling and bureaucracy then back to the campsite and dinner.

The roaches, Peak District Meet

After a night in the Rock - a pub, it was back up to the Roaches ... and more routes.

I may have the days and routes mixed up but ... Grandma's, grope, Runner route, via doleroso and Humdinger with various parties.

Then drive home

We drove up last night and set up in the camping field by the farm, after breakfast and waiting for the sun the come around - yes the sun was awake today - we walked up to the Roaches, and headed for the upper areas.

I was climbing with Sue and M-J and we did a number of the routes, Pedestal route, Black and Tans, Right Route,  and Jeffcoats chimney amongst others I believe.

then  back to the tents for supper and off to the Rock at the end of the lane.
