Froggat Edge, Peak District Meet

Another sunny day and we drove back to the peak.. our target today was Froggatt.

Bryon and I wanted to climb Valkerie, but I am not sure what else we climbed there, could have been Tody's wall, 3 pebble slab, sunset crack, Alan slab.

then home after a chip buttie in the grindleford cafe.

Millstone, Peak distict meet

We had traveled up last night and bivvied in the car park below Stanage Edge, woken by the insects early we headed for Grindleford Cafe for breakfast. Then to avoid the crowds at Stanage we headed for Millstone Edge before finishing at Lawrencefield.

Not sure which ones Bryon and I climbed after the ones earlier this month, but after a long day finishing on 3 tree climb, we all headed off to Nottingham and Carol's house. Spending the evening with Fish and chips and a pint in the trip to Jerusalem pub.

Millstone edge, Peak District Meet

Trevor, Bryon, Carol and I made it to Grindleford cafe for breakfast after a heavy night on the beer, before heading off to Millstone edge.

The Great Slab - polished and slightly loose, Eartha, and The Mall, were done by everyone, before Bryon and Trevor went on to Great North Road.

We ended up in the Grindleford cafe for sustenance.

Stanage, Peak District Meet

Trevor, Bryon , Carol and I were the only ones to make this meet, and after a slow start due t the drizzle and Grindleford cafe we headed for High Neb .. the less frequented Northern end of Stanage Edge.

We started with Cosmic Crack, and then moved on to Traversties (I had a lob onto 2 cam of a '0' flexible friend .. my best mate for a while after that ... but I got up and completed it). and a couple of other routes.

Trevor led Quietus .. his first E2, but I opted out of following at this stage of the day.
