Minnedd Mawr, N Wales Meet

 Still cold and wet underfoot, so another walk ...  We headed off to Myneddth Mawr south and east of Snowdon.

A circuit of the mountain and back to the cars.

Foel Goch, N. Wales meet

Staying in the NLMC hut in Capel Curig .. the weather was not conducive to rock climbing, and there was no snow and ice, so we went for a scramble ... the scrambles in North Wales guide book had one up Foel Goch, across to Y Garn and down to Ogwen.

Trevor and Alan headed off to Tryfan looking for the girls.

Dave and Chris, decided tat they would walk back to Capel over the tops, unfortunately a failure to extract the compass and map from the rucksack saw them go in a circle and hitching back from Ogwen cottage

Foolishly Nick and Bryon had gone off to Anglesea after getting us all up to witness their early morning run up Moel Siabod. They came back early to catch up in the hut

Patterdale, New Year Meet

The morning arrived and we slowly got up, ad made a cup of tea. then put the tents away, in time for the first arrivals who were bitterly disappointed not to be first to summit.

Back down via Swirrel edge, into the pub for a welcome brunch and then the long drive home.
