lac Bleu, Courcheval

We took a gondola ride up from Courcheval, and then walk to the lake

Col du Petit St Bernard, La Rosiere

We went off to see the St Bernard dogs at La Rosiere, and then up to the pass and a visit to the snow.

I went off with the old man, he had wanted to climb Grand Marche for a while, and needed someone on the end of the rope ... up to the col then scramble to the summit.
Sue went on a botanical walk to lac Roz

Pralognan

We drove around to Pralognan, and again parking at the end of the road, followed the track up the valley to the cascades.

Meribel

We drove around to Meribel, and parking at the end of the road took the Botanical walk up to the lake

Col d'Iseran

The day started off as a trip to Val d'Isere, and up to the col d'Iseran. We parked up at the col and went for a walk up to the obvious pointe.
After this we chose to drive all around the Vanoise, so went down the South side and drove around, then back over the col de la Madeleine. We got back late, but a good day.

We drove up the road from Bozel, and kept going past the Parking spot as the road was open.

1995 Summer Trip, Courcheval

This year we were invited to spend some time with my folks, who had rented an apartment in Courchevel. With the girls, we took our time getting down, crossing in the tunnel, then driving to Reims and a hotel.

A long day in the car saw us arriving in the late afternoon, and then trying to find the apartment block - eventually we met up with the folks and moved into the apartment.
