Le Tour/ Vormaine, France

 We went to Le tour to-day, and the girls did not go to Panda Club they, joined us.

After doing the greens and some blue runs we then dropped down to the valley and the girls went on their own on the Vormaine lift with me in pursuit

The area was not busy and it was ideal for them to gain confidence in.

Flegere/ Brevant, France

We went to Flegere, to day, buying a combined ticket to allow us to take the link to Brevant.

We were going to work our way over from one end to the other of both ski areas, using the lifts and pistes.

Grands Montets, France

 A change in the weather, and the clouds have disappeared. We went up to Grands Montets, after dropping the girls off at Panda club.

With the weather so nice, and not wanting to pay the extra fee for the top lift we concentrated on the Bochards piste and lift. which gave access to all the bowls and slopes on the front face.



We even had great views from the view point over the valley to chamonix and also to the Flegere area.

Brevant, France

We went to Brevant to-day, parking in the car park above Chamonix and taking the cable car up the mountain.

The clouds were low and we stuck to the middle pistes, with only a brief visit to the top station after lunch mainly because it was making use of the lift ticket. From the top we came down in the cloud, but it was a slow and careful descent trying to go from one pole to the next.

Les Houches, France

We went to Les Houches to day, and rode the bubble car up to top. The slopes were very icy, and there was preparation going on for the Womens down hill race of the world championships to be held later in the week and the reserved piste was cordoned off, so we had to work around it. Mind you the piste was just a sheet of ice.

We did some things around the chalet and Les Praz.

Flegere, France

We went to Flegere today .. not sure what we did except the off piste down from the Index lift, and checking out the off-piste down to the new Brevant link car.
