Le Plannay, France

Yesterday's reconnaissance showed that there was not much on offer, so for today's exercise we opted to skin up the side of the piste at Le Plannay.

No issues parking again ..  in fact a lot more spaces today after the weekend crowd had moved on.

A couple of anxious moments when the slope got steep and icy, but a gentle approach got around it.

Dom had some issues with rubbing boots, and needed some plasters.

Arriving at the bottom of the top lift we sat for lunch on some straw bales.

Looking at the view over to Mont Blanc

With the sun diving behind the clouds we headed back down ...  the icy patches had melted slightly , but going down is easier on it than walking up.

Back to the chalet for tea and cake.
