Looking down the slope to teh apartment from the bend above we could see where balls of snow had rolled down
We continued up the road zigzags up to a church in the upper village.
Past a farm house with a drawbridge for access to the hay loft. Views across the valley and up the valley that leads to the Potsdamer hutte
The road ended at a barrier which was the limit of the ploughed road - from here it was just a snow track (part of the valley panorama walk). We turned around and wandered back down.
The houses clinging to the slope beside the road all seemed to be modern architectural "special" designs with only an occasional ancient farm house.
The snow was all melting fast at this level and there was much more green showing even after our short walk.
Back to the apartment and plan for tomorrow - with a keen eye out on the avalanche danger level.
