1989 was a year of great change, and October was a key month in the year, apart from moving jobs there was also my wedding to Sue.
The honeymoon, a present from my parents, was a trip to Africa so Sue could see something of the continent I had grown up on. We had arranged a 2 part trip, one week climbing Kilimanjaro, and a second on the Indian ocean near Mombassa, doing the tourist thing.
We were on the afternoon flight to Nairobi, Kenya Airways ... not too bad but I would now spend a little more for a better seat!!
