The next day the rain continued .... an opportunity to explorer the surroundings...
We went into Briancon, parking in the cable car parking and wandered up through the old town, and around the castle.
On the way back we went up the road a little way towards Montgenvre (we would go there another year), which led us to investigating a sign to a via ferrata - tomorrows route.
In the afternoon Bryon and I wandered along the "canal" that ran through the farm by the "shed" ... In the summer this is a camp-site.
