2008 Scilly Isles Break
We duly turned up at the heliport for our flight on British International
Helicopters ... only to be informed that everything was "delayed" due to to
fog on the islands.. by lunchtime I was half expecting the announcement that
came after 3pm .. no flights today .. you are all in B&B and on the ferry
boat tomorrow.. Scillonian ferry so we had spent a day sitting in a small room
for nothing and lost a day on the islands ... that is partly why I do not like
flying in my time.
