Taking care that we had already spent out on a taxi, we caught the bus into
the city, which proved to be a mistake .... the semi finals of the Gaelic
football cup was being played at Croke Park, and the bus route went right past
it ... over an hour later we gave up and got in a taxi for the last
  stretch.
Waterloo house was in a Georgian Terrace of houses. We had a room that just managed the bed and en-suite, but this suited us. We had not done a lot but sit and wait all day, however it was tiring, so a cup of tea and more sitting.
We headed out for dinner ... There were a number of restaurants just around the corner .. and this Pizza place fitted the bill nicely - Milano's .. they did a thin Pizza with the middle removed, and filled with rocket and tomatoes. a brilliant concept and left room for desert..
After dinner we went for a walk up to the park .. St Stephen's green .. filled with sculptures and brought some respite from the city.
Back by the restaurant we crossed the canal and saw a dinner barge passing by. Then back to the guest house and ready for the big adventure tomorrow.
