A slow breakfast and some housekeeping int he morning, followed by some baking - lunch rolls and Eccles cakes. The smell of cooking drove us out of the house for a stroll, before we tore into the food, and we headed up the road to Toldern.
At Toldern we strolled around their Alpine garden which was just recovering from being under snow for months.
This area also had a restored water flour mill, with a long leate for a nearby stream with some complex water management.
Around past where the avalanche beacon (LVS) training ground would be if there was snow on the ground, currently occupied by a group of goats grazing.
ontinuing around and back to the apartment for lunch.
Back to the apartment to finish the resting, and trying out the new Eccles Cakes..
