We set out as the sun was going down behind the hills, and an almost full moon was providing a good amount of light.
The way to the village was through several sheep fields and over a couple of rickety stiles but the moon provided more than enough light together with the remaining (diminishing) daylight
We had dinner in the Radnorshire Arms - dating from the 1616 according to the sign over the substantial door.

We were first into the dining room and also first up to the carvery (a good job we had only had a light lunch!).
The way back was much darker, although the moon had enough light to see by, but in best practice dating back to the days with Dave, I had my head torch to scare away and truculent sheep (or cars). The campsite was just specs of light in the darkness when we got back.
This all brought back memories of my youth and walking to the pub from our campsite that the elders had chosen suitably far enough away they thought we would not be tempted!
