Another overcast day, and I got tempted to go to Kirdford village shop and have a bacon buttie for lunch. The walk would follow the much trailed ones between home and the shop, so it was just about which variation to include.
I set off down the parish boundary trail hoping that the muddy parts had dried slightly - in fact they were not too bad, just a couple of really boggy parts. At Chandler's barn I cut back across the fields and down into Kirdford village.
Buttie consumed I set off back following my standard route back up past the new estate, football pitch and Wephurst Park. All went well apart from a pack of eight hooray’s and equivalent dogs out of control making a nuisance of themselves.
