For once since we moved over to Wales, it stopped raining, with only a few occasional drops, so
after a morning sorting things out we went for a stroll around the village.
The ground is very wet so we did not plan on going far, just a triangle or
paths and roads.
Over the road - B4358 - in a knights' move. Then through a gate and into a grass field.
We were headed across it to the top corner and another gate.
Through the gate and climb the next field to the gate and down the far side heading for a stream going through the trees.
Over the stream - wellies a good option here when the water is flowing. Then across the final field to the corner.
Through the gate and turn sharply right. This path heads down the field and through a gate onto the farm track behind.
Up the farm track to the farm and though the side of its yard.
Next along the driveway back up tot he main road through the village - A470.
Back along the road to the house, and it still had not rained.
