As we were back early from our main walk, it seemed a good opportunity to have a wander around the village before dinner. The map showed a number of village roads that would make a circuit, heading first up the valley then down and back along the "main" valley road.
Out of the apartment and up the road that led to the departure point for the Blaiser walk.
Continuing along the side of the valley, with views over to the Steinach lift system.
Along until a road heading back (and down).
Back into the main part of the village and along the main street, before turning up to the church. This was the landmark as our apartment was just behind it. We did not need an alarm clock as the bells rang at 6am and 6pm every day.
