We traveled up the gorge and had a picnic overlooking the river. Then picked several spots to park up and explore the river closer ... and also get in the way of the canoeists paddling down ... there were no takers for anyone wanting to join them.

Tarn Gorge
Starting off by tracking down a tire garage ... then stumbling through asking
if they had any of the right size .. only to find them on back order and due
to a holiday they would not be here for 2 days. So not a quick solution and we
needed to stay around ... time to explore the Tarn gorge ... I had heard of it
as a good sight to be seen.
