Hoylake Beach, The Wirral

we went for a walk to the beach before hunting down some dinner.
Down the seaside town road to the front.. a long promenade with a lifeboat station at the end.
The tide was out ... or just a long, long way out.

In the distance was a large field of wind turbines ... and a number of service vehicles doing their stuff... as well as some (I guess) gas rigs.
Still going out .... finally got to the sea after over a kilometer. ... then back in again
On the way back in there was a crawler going out ... and then we saw the life boat coming in... good for a few minutes watching... but we did not wait for the crawler to go back.
We had seen some strange tracks on the sand ... like a sand yacht but with three wheels .. then we saw this in the distance .. another lifeboat transport .
still going back as the town gets larger....
closer and closer to the promenade, and the escape route...
Back tot eh hotel via a pub dinner.
