Our last day on this trip, and as we had time to spare after leaving the apartment we spent it in the Lego town - not the adventure park.
We started in the middle of town, parking in the multi-storey for the Lego house. We were too late to get tickets for the tour - too many people on school holidays - however we could go up and around the top of the modular building.Views from the top looking all around - very flat.
It started a rain shower so we stayed under a cover for a picnic then wandered on once it had stopped.
Just around the corner was a teddy Bear museum (unfortunately also closed), where we could walk around the gardens (and the robot mowers).
We did a tour of the garden, and all the lush growth before leaving by the way we came in.
Across a road and into the Sculpture park. The trail starts with a winding path opposite four block sculptures.
Continuing along a stream - clear but it did look like there has been iron ore around somewhere.
The next big sculpture was a 3D mirror with a circular hole.
After a few more sculptures we turned into the woods, and around a circuit.
Then the rain started again so we sped up and walked back to the centre of town.
Back to the car and it was time to go to the airport. A final "extra" to the days walking was back from the car rental unit to the terminal - a good way to exercise before the flight.
