Finally we had a glimpse of the sun today, and so we just had to get out for a walk. A local loop going up to Llysdinham, around Coed Ty Mawr down to the B4358 and back to the village.
Out of the house and down the back street to the B4358, with views up to the big house.Along the road to the back road leading to Llysdinham house.
Past the house and onto a second back road leading past the gardens, and along to Llethr - an architect design house.
Beyond the house the road turns into a track.
The track lead across the slope to Pen-y-rhiw - a lonely farm house.
An overgrown farm track led down to the stream, and a slightly broken down bridge. On the other side a climb up the side of a grass field.
Looking over the hills where there was snow to the south. Then down the track
The track contours around the slope and across to the north of Coed-Ty-Mawr
Looking over to Lan Ganol, then down the farm track towards Ty-Mawr farm.
Along the farm track and down to the farm buildings.
Down the farm drive to the B4358. Then the long trudge back to the village on the side of the road.
