We were here to have a stroll down to the lake and look over to Lakeside (where I had been yesterday).
We parked the vehicles in the first car park - luckily a couple of cars were just leaving as we arrived, since it was busy with people using the park.
Walking down to the lake and to the main facilities building so we could look over to the far side - luckily the train had just arrived and we could glimpse it as it parked up.
A quick lunch in the café before heading onward for the next stop on this whistlestop tour of locations around the end of Windermere.
