Hill Top - Beatrix Potter house

First up today was a visit to Beatrix Potters farm house a Sawrey. Not really a walk, more of an amble with friends.

We had not booked so could not use the house car park and had to leave the vehicles down the road in a lay-by.
Luckily there was a short section of path beside the busy (winedy and narrow) road. This brought us back to the village, and the the entrance.

Into the gardens and up to the house, seeing the locations for a number of the books.

Then back to the vehicles to move on to the next stop on today's tour.
