Looking in a book of local walks around Weobley showed that there was a "permissive" path joining two footpaths through Hyatt Sarnesfield farm. This would make the walk to Weobley better and avoiding main roads.
We set off from home and across the A4112, and down the drive to park farm.
Then across the fields to Little parks.
Turning east alongside a field of sweetcorn, following a quadbike track alongside then through the crop.
A second field of sweetcorn lead around Moorhouse coppice to the A480.
Across the fields ahead was the Hyatt Sarnesfield farm.
Down the Road to the farm driveway, and up through the farm yard.
The other side followed the driveway to a cottage.
Then everything went wrong.....
A sign hung on the gate that crossed a stream to a track on the far side. The permissive path was CLOSED.
This is the only way across this tract of land other than following the road up to the A4112 or down to the B4230 - each equidistant and then circling around to reach Weobley.
We chose to go up to the A4112 and return home - slightly longer than returning the way we had come, but would make a circuit.

I guess a rethink is needed for another forray -maybe see if there is access from Norton Canon.
