Sunday Wander, Kinnersley

Following yesterday's abortive walk, we chose to go out again this morning before it warmed up later in the day.
I chose a mash-up from the local walks, Starting opposite the house and working down through the fields to the Erie Gilbert meadow nature reserve. Then back up the road to Kinnersley church, before returning through the orchards and past the chicken farm.
The first gate was held by the overgrown grasses, then down the space beside the sweetcorn, swapping fields at the end to follow the edge of the woods.
The next field was supposed to have a path across to the farm buildings ... but no sign so we went around the edge.
No signs to go through the farmyard but we found a way out to the cow fields. Heading in the general direction of a gate where the map showed the path going.
Over the broken gate, and across the grass to the corner of the woods, following the edge in the fields.
Last time I was here there were no crops and the path goes across to the oak tree, however this time there was no way through the sweetcorn - so around the edge. Then back on track at the footbridge.
Over this and down the lane for a short way.
The path we needed went along the side of a clover field ...  however later we found out that we should have stayed the wrong side of the fence where there was a cut margin. As this ended we continued on the cut margins around the edge of the next field - the path should go straight across (again!)
Turning down towards the Erie Gilbert Meadow reserve along a potato field then a hay one. An overgrown stile led to the back road to Norton Wood.
Along the back road (pig street) along to Hurstley farm and Court, and onwards to Kinnersley church.
Next over the A4112 passing the rectory down a track that mutated into a path in woods.
Along a wheat field - no margin to this one so balancing on the edge.
At the end of the field crossing a stile into the orchard. There are posts on the edge of this orchard that say various words of wisdom
Meeting the cross country track to Eardisley , and following this back to the A4112 via the bean fields and chicken farm - a trace we have followed many times before as it helps to avoid the busy road.
