For this years tour, we had decided to aim for the Mont Cenis resort of Lanslebourg. We chose this as it was deep in the Maurienne valley, and we saw plenty of potential, as well as ski areas when the weather closed in.
We took my van again and we had more equipment than we would ever use (just in case).
We had booked a small apartment for two weeks through the local tourist office. It was a small 2 roomed place, but enough for us.
The kitchen and lounge windows looked out onto the panorama of the ski area.
