Spooyt Vane waterfall, Isle of man

It was too early for dinner .. and we had walked quite a way already today so it made sense to drive to somewhere for food, rather than repeat the walk of a couple of days ago .. so looking for something short.
There was the "largest" waterfall on the island in a glen Mooar, close to the campsite, and a short walk from the parking.

We headed back around the TT course to Kirk Michael and then cut south to the glen, and up a small unconvincing road to a parking spot. Then walked down a track to the river .. all a bit unconvincing, however as we crossed over there were better signs and a gate to a path leading down.
at the bottom of the path was a small stream and a pond .... fed by a waterfall.
Much reduced by the lack of rainfall, but still impressive for the island. returning the sun streaked through the canopy as we climbed the endless stairs back up the side.
back at the van we headed out the way we had come in ... choosing a pub at Ballaugh bridge - The Raven.
Then back to the campsite for even more sunset watching
