The collective thoughts for our stay were to go and visit a few historical sites
in between walks aroudn the local area, and the choice for today was Furness
abbey - the ruins also involved a wander around the large site.
We checked in to the reception area then looked around the exhibition before
strolling out to the ruins themselves.

After the monument we wandered around the outside to reach the Abbey Mill
café - the nearest facilities - for a long chat over lunch.
