The girls had planned an escape for Sue together with some old friends up to a barn in Finsthwaite. The trip was a surprise for Sue, and she was shocked to see the others as they arrived.
The barn was on the west side of Lake Windermere just above the tail end (Newby Bridge), and west of Lakeside.
There were some group activities as well as an opportunity for me to escape for some walking.
